What's on: MycoRed international network

In our project a big attention is paid to create and consolidate relationships among the most important institutions and associations operating in the field of mycotoxins.

In these two years MycoRed met interest by many international players and uptoday we can resume our international network as follows:

2010: creation of a Mycotoxin network for the Mediterranean area food safety in cooperation with Mediterranean Phytopathological Union (MPU) and International Society for Mycotoxicology (ISM). 

2010: launch of Mycotoxin network for the South East Asia and Pacific Rim area to cooperate and share experience with local experts and organizations (in cooperation ISM).

2011: launch of Mycotoxin network for Africa for local cooperation in cooperation with ISM.

2011: the cooperation in Asian region is being strenghten  by important scientific alliances:
  • an agreement with the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Science (CAAS), signed during the visits of CNR director and MycoRed Coordinator in Bejing, China in May 2011. 
  • organization a joint ISM-MycoRed International Conference in China in 2014, hosted by CAAS after the end of the project (March 2013).
  • scientific alliance signed with prof. Meihua Yang, IMPLAD Coordinator in China, for cooperation on mycotoxin research.                                                                                                      
  • JSM -Japan Society for Mycotoxicology joined our network in September , by signing a scientific alliance with MycoRed and ISM to give support in organizing the International Conference on Mycotoxins in Bejing, China in 2014.
