MycoRed Short Term Visits 2011 - FINAL LIST!

50 applications for Short Term Visits have been received by IFA BOKU, who coordinated the administrative procedure.
For the third round 8 researchers, from Ethiopia, Ivory Coast, Egypt, Morocco, Cameroon, Thailand, Benin and Greece will be hosted by labs of MycoRed network in Europe.
Attached find the final list of applicantions approved by Executive Committee met in Rome on 6 May 2011.

MycoRed Short Term Visits 2011 -CLOSED

Young researchers from ICPC countries and EU member states can apply for a  SHORT TERM VISIT in one of the laboratories (see section Download), participating in the MycoRed Project.

The purpose of the stay must be thematically in line with the  project. The visits in the host labs can have a duration of one or three months.

A lump-sum is paid directly to the visiting scientist, contributing to travel costs and living expenses, according to the following scheme:

 The whole application (to be completed using the MycoRed STV template) must not exceed 5 pages and shall include:

• Short description of home institute and current work
• CV with examples for specific knowledge, experience, skills etc.
• Topic and abstract of the proposed activity
• Starting date and duration of the stay
• Name of the desired host lab** (if already known)

If the application is eligible, the applicant may be requested to send a more detailed working plan of the stay that will be assessed in the host lab.

Final decisions about the Short-Term Visits for the third project year will be made by the end of May 2011 and the list of admitted applications will be published on MycoRed website.
